Village Home Tuition & Fees
Membership Rates and Tuition
Join the community! Membership is optional, and is worthwhile if you plan to attend 3 or more classes at Village Home. Enroll as a member family, and enjoy tuition discounts as well as access to weekly Member Activities and Clubs. Members volunteer ten hours per term. A portion of your membership dues may be tax-deductible. (Consult with your tax professional.) Approximately 90% of our families are members.
Family Membership Fee (Community Duty required)
$325/year or $120/term
2015 - 2016 Tuition for Classes
Tuition for each unit of class is paid each term and is based
on one hour of instruction per week for ten weeks.
A payment plan is available.

Materials Fees
Some classes and Member Activities have a materials fee to cover consumable materials for the class. Materials fees vary from $0 - $25/term/offering. See the offering description for applicable materials fee.
Community Duty Members Enjoy Lower Class Tuition Rates
Member families participate in Community Duty to receive the lowest tuition rates, or they may opt-out of Community Duty with a Buy-Out. Community Duty jobs are typically done on campus, either weekly throughout the term or all at once during an event, and require about 10 hours of time per family per term.
Community Duty Buy-Out: $35/class unit up to a maximum of $175(5 units) per family per term.
Member Activities Tuition
Member Activities are offered for a discounted tuition. Any offering class code that ends in the letter "M" or that appears in the schedule with a is a Member Activity. Activities are for members only.
Refund Policy
Membership Dues Are Non-Refundable.
If you drop a class before the end of the add/drop period, you will get a full tuition + material fees refund. After the add/drop period, there are no tuition or material fees refunds. Materials fees are not refundable. If Village Home cancels a class, you receive a refund of tuition and material fees. The add/drop period is the first two weeks of the each term.
Financial Aid and Payment Plans
Limited Financial Aid is available. Apply for Financial Aid prior to the published deadlines by downloading a financial aid application.

Payment Plans
Payment plans are available for MEMBER families who wish to split tuition and fees over the course of the term. Payment must be submitted with a ( Payment Plan Agreement.)
